Allah Hu is Arabic for "Praise God" -- from the same root as the Hebrew "HalleluYah." The melody is adapted roughly from a Sufi song of the same name by Nusrat Fatah Ali Khan. The additional lyric utilizes the first line of "The Lord's Prayer," both in Hebrew and English. We thus have a very simple tri-lingual song of Praise to the One.
