Lord, make me an instrument of Your peace, Where there is hatred, let me sow love Where there is injury, let me show pardon, Where there is doubting, Let me bring Your faith. Lord, make me an instrument of Your peace Where there is despair, let me bring hope Where there is darkness, let me shine Your light, Where there is sadness, Let me bring Your joy. Oh Divine Master, grant that I may seek not so much to be consoled, as to be the one to console, not so much understood as to understand, not to be loved, but to love another make me an instrument of your peace. For it is in the giving that we do receive It is in pardoning that we all are pardoned, And it is in dying, that we are born again. Lord, make me an instrument of your peace. Señor, hazme un instrumento de tu paz! Adonai, asa li kli shalomecha!

Ubuntu 03:40
They say there’ll be no peace, no resolution no avoiding destruction no chance for release The chains that bind our hearts were forged by other hands, from ancient lands But now it’s time to speak ubuntu, ubuntu, ubuntu For all too many years, the rivers have flowed with blood plowshares are still outnumbered by all these swords The widow and the stranger still want for food the orphan is twice removed from love restored ubuntu, ubuntu, ubuntu and if there is a way to end this hate it will only be discovered by hearts that ache for the peace that only people who love can make ubuntu, ubuntu, ubuntu I am because you are, no matter what others say this is more than an old cliché we use when stronger words fail I am because you are, let the separatist be forewarned we share in common a sacred form leaving all else to pale ubuntu, ubuntu, ubuntu

Open the Doors (free) 04:31
Some twenty years ago, in a car late, late at night A Catholic priest and I waited at a traffic light The Cathedral was on the left A McDonalds on the right He asked, “What’s wrong with this picture?” The Cathedral was locked up tight. Let’s open the doors… Let’s open the portals… Let’s open our hearts even more! Let’s open the doors… Let’s unlock each handle… Let’s welcome inside the poor. There’s a church in San Francisco where the pastor’s very brave. He lets the homeless in each day and they sleep within the nave The mass goes on around them… The homeless dream away They call it “Sacred Sleep”… It’s Communion either way. Let’s open the doors… Fifth Avenue’s the place to live for the very well-to-do. But thanks to Presbyterians the homeless sleep there too. The City tried to make them send the homeless folk away The City lost the judgment… the Gospel wins the day! Let’s open the doors… If Jesus wanted all of us to hide behind closed doors To worship him protected from the presence of the poor Why did he choose to hang around with those the world abhorred? O, Jesus help our unbelief!... Our trust in you restore!

A Young Monk's Query (free) 03:08
I read a short story many years ago… when I was still young and life was Still slow… Part of a collection of ancient tales once told to those who Were young by those who were old… And so it goes…once upon a time back when people asked questions of the mystical kind… there was this young monk, just a novice they say, Went to see his old master for some counsel one day… And he fell on his knees as tears filled his eyes… he clutched at this habit He could not disguise …that his hunger for holiness was unsatisfied… What more than praying and fasting could his master advise? Well, the old monk listened to the young monk he loved and he Stretched out his hands up to heaven above… the young monk beheld And watched what transpired, as the elder’s ten fingers became ten Lamps of fire. Now stories come and stories go I remember some and others, no. Some are short and some are long, then there are curious ones that Sometimes become a song. And so it was, once upon a time… when the sacred and holy still Enraptured mankind… there was this young monk with a holy desire Who decided one day to be changed into fire! I read a short story many years ago… when I was still young and life Was still slow.
